Sarah Motzkin: Owner of Busy Bostonians

Meet Sarah, a fashion-savvy, creative & superb multi-tasker, owner of Boston-based Busy Bostonians and my latest It Girl

Sarah graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Retail Merchandising, starting her career at Target in Boston. Before settling into a role in Human Resources, Sarah began her career running the clothing department and even opened a new store front running logistics. Post Target, she spent a few years with American Girl as their Human Resources Manager where she realized her true passion for service. After having her son, Sarah decided to leave the corporate world and focus on building a different career path where she could combine her creative side and love for helping others. This is when Busy Bostonians was born.

In 2015, Sarah started Busy Bostonians, a personal assistant services company, with the mission of making her clients’ lives easier by performing the tasks they don’t have the time or expertise to do. Over the last three years, she's been helping her clients save time, de-stress and most importantly giving them the gift of time.

Sarah started by helping both family and friends pick out and wrap holiday gifts, put together gift baskets, plan parties and run errands. Today she is busy helping clients get their to-do lists completed by planning corporate events, providing human resources consultations, running errands, designing gift baskets, providing assistance to brides, moms-to-be, holiday shopping and more. The list is endless!

Sarah’s organizational skills and experience managing people, events, and tight schedules make her a go-to girl to get things done. Her “get it done” attitude combined with her innate ability for multi-tasking makes her a natural in her industry.

I always ask my It Girls what their one piece of advice is for other woman starting their own business. According to Sarah, "Believe in yourself.  If you believe in yourself and continue to work hard it will happen!"
