Does anyone love rompers as much as I do? I love how easy they are to throw on, and especially love that you only have to worry about wearing one piece. Picking out a top and pants, can sometimes be nerve wracking, not to mention my room and closet are usually a mess after from trying so many things on (anyone else???).
Sharing one of my favorite rompers for summer, recently sent to me from Vineyard Vines. It's super light weight, easy to wear, and I love the tassel detail on the waist. Perfect for a day event, or fun night out with friends. See below for a few more of my favs all UNDER $100!

Happy Spring babes! I am so glad the weather is finally cooperating. Now lets just hope it stays! This week I stopped into one of my favorite Boston boutiques to update my spring wardrobe, ouimillie, located on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. In case you haven't been in (what are you waiting for???), ouimillie carries apparel, jewelry, accessories and even home items all one-of-a-kind. Most pieces come from Europe, however they do carry products from local Boston designers which I love. ouimillie is a tad pricey (you get what you pay for peeps!), so I have shared a look for less below. I have also pulled together my favorite must-have items of the moment for the spring/summer months all under $100. Happy shopping!

Even though last weekend hit 80 degrees in Boston, the cooler fall temps are on their way, soon to be making dressing warm a necessity. Whether you're apple picking or heading to the winery (some of my favorite fall pastimes) a flannel shirt is an easy, comfy and stylish way dress. They are also extremely versatile. They're great for everyday casual wear and can even be worn in many workplaces. Below, I've rounded up a few of my favorite flannel pieces for this season. Happy shopping!
Fall has officially hit Boston with colder temps & crisp air. My goal this week is to pack up my summer clothes, clean out my closet, and fill it with my latest fall finds. This season I have been shopping a lot at H&M and Nordstrom, but I also love to shop local.
LIT Boutique is definitely one of my favs! It has a few locations: Back Bay, North End, and event Portsmouth, NH. LIT has really unique pieces from clothing, to jewelry and accessories. As soon as I walked in this Dee denim jacket was calling my name. I first loved the oversized look, the wash and the front pockets, but when I turned to see the back, it was game over. I think it is so important for every woman to work for themselves and not for others. Doing what makes you happy at the end is what will make you the happiest in life and help you to reach your goals. Of course in life there will always be ups and downs, but it is important to stay positive!
I paired this jacket with my favorite pair of black ripped jeans and the cutest choker tee from LIT. I also wore black booties, but this could also be worn with flats, heels, or taller boots. My bag is from last Spring from Coach, but I have linked a similar one below. Scroll down for the full look!
Summer is officially over which means the store shelves have been lined with Halloween candy and Christmas decorations galore. It also means that it’s time to find a balance of dressing between summer and fall.
For example, this week in Boston, the mornings are a crisp 60 degrees but by the afternoon it's int he 80's. In the coming weeks, fall's transitional confusion can be settled (for the most part) by your outerwear. Start with something light such as a leather or denim jacket. Once autumn checks into full gear, go fro something more substantial such as a trench or wool coat.
I've pulled together my favorite pieces (below) that will have you covered this season. Happy shopping!
Sweater weather is quickly approaching, so I've put together a roundup of my favorite sweaters for the fall season at all different price points. Happy shopping!
A few weeks ago I was approached by Todd Rogers Eyewear in Andover to learn about their brand. I was immediately intrigued as I have worn glasses forever, and was in the market for a new pair (my dog may or may not have torn mine to pieces). As soon as I walked in, I immediately fell in love with the space. The Todd Rogers flagship is not like any other optician's office I have ever been in - it is super trendy and modern but also inviting (it has a bit of that 'Cheers' feeling where you walk in and everyone know's your name...located in a former bar & grill, this makes sense).
Todd Rogers, the man behind Todd Rogers Eyewear, is no different from the store's aesthetic. A Somerville native, Todd is the champion of entrepreneurial spirit and a believer of breaking rules. He designed each and every pair of glasses to reflect his "classic with a twist" motto, something that is very pertinent in his design. Not only is he the face of the brand, but he is also on the ground every day, something I think is truly important.
As a young apprentice Optician, Todd used to hand-cut lenses in the basement after work, experimenting with all shapes and sizes of eyewear. After many years of hard work, Todd Rogers Eyewear was launched in 2009, with a small collection aimed at upping the game on quality independent eyewear. Fast forward eight years later, his mission remains - to design and manufacture eyewear using the very best materials, combining his optical knowledge of what makes good glasses fit great, and his outrageous attention to detail.
From purchasing a pair of glasses from Todd first hand, I can say that he really knows what he's doing. He can pick out which glasses will look best on your just by looking at you for a few seconds. When looking at me, he immediately pulled three pairs off the shelf. All were a bit out of my comfort zone, but as soon as I put them on, I knew why he had picked them. In the end, I fell in love with a navy blue and gold frame - something I would have never chosen on my own. You can view their glasses here.
AND, in addition to glasses, Todd Rogers Eyewear carries sunglasses and Jackson Rogers Eyewear for kids. Scroll down to view my favorite pieces from the Todd Rogers line! More on my glasses coming soon...
Believe it or not, Summer is coming to an end. Transitioning from Summer to Fall is always bittersweet for me. As much as I love Summer, there's nothing I love more than a crisp Fall day; which is why I was super excited to style this Fall look from Lit Boutique.
I immediately fell in love with these PAGE jeans the moment I walked into LIT. I have been obsessed with the tassel trend for Summer, so I am excited it has made its way into the Fall season. They are super comfortable and pair great with a nice mule or flat. The bold/cold shoulder is another trend making its way into Fall. For this particular sweater, I loved the detailing of the shoulder and the shade of green is perfect for the Fall season.
This look can be kept casual or dressed up. I added some fun jewelry to the mix and flats to keep it casual, but add a pair of pumps & evening bag and you're in business.

I was excited to receive a package recently from SHEIN, an affordable online clothing & accessories boutique that definitely will not hurt the wallet. This tassel and embroidered top was definitely one of my favorites. This top is perfect for Summer, and transitioning into Fall, and is a steal for only $14! I paired it with my favorite white jeans from H&M and my new Halogen mules for the perfect brunch look. Don't forget about my Todd Rogers sunglasses!

If you follow my blog, than you know I like to shop local, which is why I'm excited to share this new floral jumpsuit from LIT Boutique. To me rompers are perfect for any season, but this print makes this look a perfect piece to transition from into Fall. If you're a little booby like myself, and don't want to be too revealing, try adding a bralet. With this outfit, I styled a gold choker with a longer gold chain necklace and a few bracelets. As far as shoes, I went with a classic black pump, but depending on the time of year, a heeled sandal would work as well. More from LIT Boutique coming soon. Unfortunately, all items are only available in-store (click here for locations) but I have provided similar pieces below!
Can you guys believe it's already August 1st? It's crazy how fast the summers seem to fly by.
I'm super excited to share this look with you all from Ouimilie - one of the cutest shops in Beacon Hill. If you follow my blog, you already know all about this shop and why I love it - from the unique and stylish pieces they carry to the beautiful, kind & stylish owner.
These white pants are incredibly comfortable and lightweight, perfect for summer nights. I paired it with a lightweight see-through black lace top and black heels - a classic look. And of course, I always bring a light jacket for those brisk summer nights. This black bomber is light, comfortable and will keep you warm!

When I walked into Ouimillie last week, I was super excited to learn about a locally-based clothing brand that I had never hear of before, Natalie Busby. The creator understands that for the modern woman, her ultimate luxury is her time, which is truly reflected in each piece. She creates streamlined collections that span age and personality - perfect for every woman. Each piece is versatile, chic, and effortless. For Natalie, the woman always wears the clothes and the clothes never the woman. AMEN to that!
Each piece is responsibly made in the USA - which I love. Each collection focuses on the incorporation of natural and sustainable textiles. To eliminate excess inventory, they rely on small batch production. Natalie cuts her garments in small runs that can be replenished with demand. If they run out of something you love, you can sign up to be notified when it is back in stock.
Right away I was drawn to this silk midi skirt. I love it styled with a plain white tee and a wedge to keep it casual for a day around the city. You can also dress it up with the matching Silk and Jersey Cowl Top and a cute sandal pump for a modern two-piece dress look.
Natalie's pieces are available at Ouimillie and nataliebusby.com.

If you've followed my blog over the last two years, then you know Ouimillie in Beacon Hill is one of my favorite shops. They carry the most unique apparel, jewelry, handbags, and home decor from Danish fashion line, Baum und Pferdgarten to French brand, Reiko. Ouimillie recently moved to a beautiful location at 133 Charles Street - a must see if you live in the area or just visiting.
Owner and interior designer, Millicent Cutler, attends International Fashion and Design shows in Paris throughout the year sourcing Ouimillie's unique collection products. Her design work is both local and international, and always influenced by those around her. Millicent brings her passions for living with style, comfort and substance to the walls and shelves of Ouimillie, purchasing products for all elements that blend together with harmony. Products found at Ouimillie are not found anywhere else in Boston and most of the U.S.
The moment I walked into the store I immediately fell in love with this Rabens, Abba jacket. The color alone caught my eye, but when I felt the fabric and put it on - I knew it was a must have for Fall. This jacket pairs well with jeans and a cute tank or top or over a simple dress. Dress it up with pumps or down with sneakers - just make sure the jacket stands out!
Ouimillie also carries local Somerville-based designer, Natalie Busby - whose clothes I absolutely fell in love with. Each piece is perfectly cut to fit a women's body and are versatile, chic, and effortless. For her, the woman always wears the clothes and the clothes never the woman. More on this to come. In the meantime, you can shop her pieces available at Ouimillie here. You can also shop new arrivals on her site here.
